1 BHK Flat Interior Design, Matunga, Mumbai

Matunga, heart of Mumbai city towards downtown Mumbai. Very few know that Matunga Central Railway Station holds the Limca Book of Records (2018) for having an all-woman staff.

The project was started with the designing first, Mr. Akre (Homeowner) called us for booking an appointment for our 3D Interior Design Service. They had visited our website and watched YouTube videos also, so he was interested to do the design first to visualize the house.

Mr. Akre’s apartment is of total 22 floors and his flat on a 17th Floor, It is simply beautiful with the complete bay view, Mahim bay and Bandra-Worli sea link from the bedroom can easily viewable, ample amount of lights and fresh air accessible, which is the real luxury attraction of that house. From living room also you can view Shivaji Park, Shiv Sena Bhavan and Mahim bay.

It is a redeveloped building, where out of 22 floors, 12 floors alloted to the tenants and rest of the floors for the sale by the builder. Floors doesn’t have enough space and such amenities but must say the view is incredible. Even spending crores you cannot get that view.

Let’s talk about the 1 BHK project which we have done at Matunga in November 2020.

After the appointment booking, we visited Mr.Akre’s house, took the measurements, understood the requirements and shared some initial ideas and suggestions, based on that we prepared 3D & 2D Design. After the initial proposed drawing we received some changes regarding color scheme and placement and within two revisions we completed the drawings because the requirements was very clear and there were no more scope of playing with the design, the reason was the space constraint. It was just a 400 square feet carpet area.

Then we gave him an itemized quote for the design we prepared as finalized by him.

We completed the designing part in January 2020 and finalized the estimate in February 2020 and started the work in February 2020 itself in second last week but then in March 2020 unexpected break came COVID-19 a pandemic situation. So unfortunately we had to stop the work because of the society and of-course for our team’s precautions.

Work was resumed in August 2020 with little ON and OFF situation because of the society rules and labour shortages. But it was finally completed in November 2020 first week.
